Dental X-rays allow Dr. Pippen, Dr. Watson, and Dr. Chance to detect damage and disease not visible during a regular dental exam. How often X-rays should be taken depends on your present oral health, your age, your risk for disease, and any signs and symptoms of oral disease. We offer the latest in digital imaging, which provide excellent resolution with less radiation exposure. Digital x-rays emit half the amount of radiation associated with traditional X-rays and are less time consuming. A small sensor is placed in your mouth; a picture is taken, and the images are immediately transferred to the monitor in our office and can be reviewed with you from the computer screen.
